[This device is odd. There is nothing like it in his era. But Erik is a smart man. It only takes a bit of tinkering before he is able to turn on the text function.]
To the captain of this vessel,
I should start by saying that I am quite pleased with knowing that there is a stage on board your ship. If given the opportunity, I would like very much to put on a performance of which I am sure you and your crew have never seen before.
But, to business. I am aware that you have a young woman by the name of Christine Daaé as a passenger. This too pleases me greatly, as I am sure you are aware of her musical talents.
My only request is that I be placed as close to her quarters as possible, so that her tutelage may continue without hindrance.
I am but a humble servant,
O.G.

[Zelda's well acquainted with the woman. They're not necessarily friends, more like rivals although she's never bothered to view that. It's interesting to have someone looking for her, though. Especially a new passenger.]
Hm...
You are new here, are you not?

What is your relationship with Miss Daaé?
[So that he may judge it and determine if you are suitable to remain her acquaintance.]

We are not enemies, if that is what you are inquiring of, Sir.
[Something about him rubs her the wrong way.]

[So they're not friends? Good. Christine does not need silly distractions like friends. Her angel is all she needs.]
no subject
And who are you to her, Sir?
[For if you are a threat, Zelda will need to put her foot down.]

[Zelda is hopelessly confused. What in the world is that?]

[Is... this another god situation?]

[And love and obsess over her.]

I see...
If I see her, I shall certainly let her know that you are looking for her.
