[Isn't that a lovely song you hear coming from your journal? But isn't it giving you the strangest sense of deja vu? Maybe you have heard it before, maybe you haven't. Either way, just enjoy it c:]
asoutcastshear: (he'll always be there singing songs)
[Erik is forgoing broadcasting his playing this time. It's an attempt to curtail the number of people that would come nosing around. But that doesn't mean Erik is done mourning. Not by a long shot. Not only was Chrissie the woman he loved, but she was also his muse. Without her...well he hasn't be able to write anything and that's just...wrong. After all, stalking Raoul is only entertaining for so long.

He plays quietly, something old and from another world.]
asoutcastshear: (Shunned by the multitude)
[Erik has come to a basic understanding of why he is here in the Keep. He spent the first night acquainting himself with his journal contraption before venturing out to find a piano or an organ of some sort. Upon locating one, he seated himself and began to play.

What is that somber song you hear? It is Erik mourning.]
asoutcastshear: (this darkness which you cannot fight)
This journal is being recycled for a new game! If you are from the Failboat, please friend remove or happy stalking!
asoutcastshear: (Let it be war)
[Erik had heard Christine's scream and had rushed to her aid without a second thought. Well he would have, had he an idea of where she was. He didn't know she had taken to wandering about the ship and getting herself chewed on by vampires.

So what was the best plan of action? Stationing himself outside of her room to wait for her, of course.]
asoutcastshear: (Only then can you belong to me)
[All Erik had to do was call. That's all he had to do, and she'd come to him. So that's what he'd do. She felt distant to him and Erik wanted to mend this. What better way than through music?

So he calls for her, voice soft and beckoning. Difficult to ignore. Difficult to resist.]

Locked to Christine // 10% Unhackable

Christine, I have left something for you as a thank you outside of your room.

Please inform me when you've received it.

[Outside of the fop's door, Chrissie will find a rose with a black ribbon and some music from Don Juan. Past the Point of No Return. He needs to hear it. Come on Chrissie. Sing it to him.]
asoutcastshear: (Who was that shape in the shadows?)
[Welp the boat went to hell in a handbag. So what's a Phantom to do? COMPOSE MUSIC OF COURSE! He's actually been working on this for months. And since he's been holed up in his room since escaping deck 17, he's been working on the finishing touches for it.

What is it, you might ask? Why it's Don Juan Triumphant. Erik's masterpiece. The only thing in the world he might love more than Chrissie. Maybe.

Anyway, No one's heard probably heard from the Phantom in a while. Today that changes. Feel privileged Elegante, because you can hear a song from it playing softly from the communicators. A reminder to the people who actually care about him (and those that don't) that he's still alive.]
asoutcastshear: (Come to the Angel of Music.)
[Welp, it's been long enough. Much too long in Erik's opinion. It's time to get the object of his obsession affection back. That means using the voice.]

Christine. I'm waiting.
asoutcastshear: (Say you'll share with me one love)
[It's been too long. Chrissie hasn't come back and Erik has done his best to hunt her down. But the boat is far too big for him to search. There's been no activity on her commline and she hasn't returned to her room. So there's only one conclusion to be made. She's with Raoul. And, well, Erik simply could not have that.

So. He'll try to win her back. Scratch that, he will win her back. If only to get her attention and there is one sure fire way to do that.]

[The first note starts rather abruptly. And though it is not addressed to anyone in particular, if one is familiar with the situation, it's pretty easy to figure out who Erik is talking to.]

Make no attempt to see her.

[The next note is far less sinister.]

Miss Anna,

I would like to see you at your earliest convenience.

Yours,

O.G.

[Ever since his conversation with Anna a few days ago, Erik has holed himself up in his room, working furiously to get the show prepared.

He had decided to rework a few of his favorite pieces to better suit Anna's voice and would let her choose which she preferred to perform.

Now, though, the Opera Ghost has relocated himself. There was only so much he could do with that little keyboard. He needed a real piano. So he went into the library, sat at the piano, and switched on his comm to give his fellow Elegante passengers a preview of what was to come.]
asoutcastshear: (And waits for its prey)
[Erik is a man on a mission. Most people who are not night owls are probably asleep. It's probably 3am when Erik steals out of his room and slips down to Anna's. A single fluid swipe of the keycard and the door opens with a quiet hiss. He casts a cautious glance over his shoulder then slips inside.

He's hoping she's asleep. It'll make getting her out of here so much easier. He crosses the room and watches her for a minute. Finally, he decides to put his plan into action. Hypno voice of seduction and sex is a go!]

[Erik woke that morning and ran a hand over his face. He was happy to discover that it was masculine, because his adventures as a woman were not funny. At all. Still, there was a problem. He ran a hand across his face and were there was once uneven and horribly scarred skin, it was...smooth. Had...had he been healed?

He leaped from the bed, nearly tripping since his legs were tangled in the sheets, so he could see himself in the mirror. But when he looks, the face looking back is not his own.

He stands there, for a solid hour, staring at Raoul's reflection. The comm clicks on finally. Text all the way bb.]

[There's a dirty boy in the buffet. Look at that, getting his dirty hands all over the food. He's scooping it out with his hands and ducking back behind the buffet to eat it unseen, almost like he doesn't want to be caught. Unfortunately, the food is hot, so one may hear him blowing on it if they're close enough.]
asoutcastshear: (Seal my fate tonight)
[Unbeknown to our dear Phantom of the Elegante Opera, he had been reassigned the very same room he occupied during his first voyage on the good ship Elegante. While searching the room, he happened to come across a keycard identical to the one he stole from Anna. Seeing no need for two, and upon hearing Anna's broadcast, he decides to return the keycard. If only to throw a wrench in Raoul's plans. That's what Erik does best you know, throwing wrenches at Raoul.

Anyway, he tucks the keycard into the black ribbon tied around the stem of another rose and leaves it outside of Anna's room. Then returns to his room to make a post on the network.]

Anna, there is something for you outside of your room.

[NEVER MIND HOW HE KNOWS WHERE HER ROOM IS OKAY SHUT UP.]
asoutcastshear: (The trap is set)
[Erik has been following this girl who claimed to be his student during his first journey on this ship. A journey that our Opera Ghost doesn't remember taking. She lives an interesting life, for certain. He finds his target once again in the library, and he watches her intently. Maybe it's time he's gotten to know his new student just a little more. She'll keep him occupied until he finds Christine.

When he talks, the words echo across the room.]
