[Raoul isn't terribly good at keeping his word when said word doesn't suit him, like the one about leaving the Phantom alone if left alone in return. Habit sees him listening in (or reading in, as it were) on Erik's broadcast and making his way to the library as well.
He moves slowly and quietly, moving behind the farthest bookshelves to a spot where he can see and hear. When he gets to that spot... suddenly, it's just like the night of Don Juan Triumphant. That voice is just as hypnotic as before, but Raoul knows the danger of being ensnared by it and resists being charmed. He has to, for he sees Erik with his hands on Anna just as he did with Christine... though, chance would have it, he's at just the wrong angle to see him swiping the key card.]
