[Erik is forgoing broadcasting his playing this time. It's an attempt to curtail the number of people that would come nosing around. But that doesn't mean Erik is done mourning. Not by a long shot. Not only was Chrissie the woman he loved, but she was also his muse. Without her...well he hasn't be able to write anything and that's just...wrong. After all, stalking Raoul is only entertaining for so long.

He plays quietly, something old and from another world.]

[He turns to look at her, studies her intently for a moment. Her voice is of a different quality than Christine's. It was foreign, exotic He couldn't treat her like he treated Christine.

After a moment, a look crossed Erik's face. What is that look? Why it's inspiration. He's finally feeling inspired. Congratulations Anna! He turns back without a word and lifts his quill to begin composing promptly. Anna may stay if she's curious. Or go. Erik probably won't notice.]

[Of course she's curious. So, she'll sit on the edge of the piano bench, watching him carefully.]

[It takes him a moment to realize she's sitting next to him, but when he does, he moves over and makes room for her. But she won't see what he's composing until it's done.]

[Erik stops a moment to listen to her play.]

Lovely. [It is muttered under his breath, not truly meant to be heard by her. Still, the piece he's composing is done. It's short and very simple. But for a first lesson? It's perfect. When her song is finished, he puts the piece in front of them and begins to play.]

Listen, feel the music.

[And then he'll let you sing.]

[She leans forward to look at it as her hands fall away. This is something she can do, and after sight reading it in her mind once, she sings it aloud for him, voice dancing along in time with the melody he plays.]

[He listens to her sing and stops playing partway through the song. He stands, moves to the other side of the bench and offers her a hand.]

Stand up. I want to show you something.

[The mane gets a wary eye - anyone wearing a mask and so freely offering her something she's always dreamed of is someone certainly to be suspected, but she is pretty confident that should the need arise, she could tear him to pieces.

So, she takes his hand, and gets to her feet.]

[With her hand in his, he turns her until her back is facing him. His hands are light and brush against her abdomen as he explains a breathing technique. Don't question it, Anna. Just roll with it. With that done, he steps back and returns to the bench.]
